“RAU Stem Cell Concentrate” - Up to now, this new cosmetic trend has been mainly extracted from apple stem cells. The latest development, however, is the usage of sea holly stem cells.As the sea holly is able to flexibly adjust to environmental conditions, it is regarded as an innovative cosmetic ingredient. This concentrate contains whole stem cells, which restructure and protect your skin on different levels (not only one extract of the apple stem cell as in the first generation of stem cell cosmetics). Stem cells are rich in lipids, amino acids, polyols, polyphenols as well as sugars. They act in the epidermal and dermal layer as well as in the basement membrane. In the epidermis, stem cells boost the proliferation of skin cells and thus accelerate skin renewal, help to fight damaging and oxidative free radicals and to minimize inflammatory processes. Special mediators and molecules responsible for the communication and connection between epidermis and dermis are protected and stimulated. In the dermal layer, collagen synthesis is boosted and proteoglycans are stimulated (in order to firm the skin matrix).
